Team Trofeo Racing
Our racing history is the source of our name today. Trofeo Cars was named after the Alfasud Trofeo from the Trofeo racing series from the 70s and 80s, where the likes of Gerhard Berger and Karl Wendlinger ‘cut their teeth’.
We raced in the Alfa Romeo Championship for many years and have competed more recently in various Porsche championships. For 2025, we are continuing to support a customer racing their 996 in Class SP1 of the CALM All Porsche Trophy. We are also proud to be sponsoring the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Supercup reigning champion, Ollie Hall, as he looks to retain his title.
While often acquiring competition-prepared race cars, the team also converts road cars to race specification - we acquire the road cars, strip them down and then build them into fully fledged racing cars. This includes everything from roll cages through to ‘trick’ suspension, blueprinted engines and driver bespoke interiors. Our workshop is fully equipped and our technicians experienced to create and maintain these race cars.
If you are looking to take up racing, in search of mechanics & engineers or interested in what it takes to drive competitively then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
