Trofeo Cars are delighted to offer this stunning low-mileage, manual Porsche 993 Carrera 4S, which has been in long term ownership for the past 25 years. This 4S has clearly been cherished as evidenced by its condition and superb history. Just 181 manual C16 C4Ss were produced for the UK market and the Arctic silver with contrasting midnight blue leather is a classic combination. This remarkable 911 is powered by the air-cooled, 3.6 litre, naturally aspirated, Varioram engine, producing 285 hp. The 993 was the last of the 911s to use the air-cooled engines and they are increasingly sought after amongst the Porsche cognoscenti.

Ordered new by and delivered to Porsche Cars Great Britain in October 1997 for use as a show car and purchased from them by the second owner in 1999. Included with the car are both the original keys and original key code card, two original P1000 alarm fobs and Porsche leather folder for the original manuals.

Designed by Tony Hatter, the 993 is the last of the air-cooled 911’s and only 20% of parts are carried over from the 964. The 993 C4S is treated with the body, brakes and suspension from the 911 Turbo, along with 18” β€˜Turbo-look’ alloys, and was also given a lower ride height than the standard Carrera – 10mm and 20mm lower at the front and rear respectively. A new light-alloy subframe with a coil and wishbone suspension creates better road holding and a dynamic driving stance. The all-wheel-drive system is also 50% lighter than the previous 911 generation.
